Long-term Teachers are currently supporting a Primary School in Torquay. The school is looking to employ a Teacher who can work on a part-time basis for the remainder of the academic year.
This school provides a challenging but rewarding environment for children to learn and develop their confidence both personally and academically. The school is supportive and aims to bring out the best in both children and staff, encouraging the utilization of individual strengths.
The Role
This large school offers a part-time opportunity to start ASAP. You will work as a Year 4 Class Teacher three days a week, with some flexibility on the days.
The ideal candidate will have experience and knowledge of the KS2 curriculum, be hard-working, and keen to help students thrive in their abilities. You will collaborate with other Class Teachers to deliver outstanding lessons.
Responsibilities
* Differentiate and adapt lessons to meet the needs of all children.
* Assess children's development and communicate effectively with the partner teacher.
* Collaborate with other KS2 Class Teachers on planning and assessment.
* Work closely with the class Teaching Assistant to support SEND children.
* Build relationships with staff, pupils, and parents.
