Puro Associates are delighted to be partnering with a well-established and highly regarded accountancy practice in Wantage, who are looking to bring on an experienced Personal Tax Manager to join their friendly and supportive team on a part-time basis. There is the potential for the role to be full-time for the right candidate

Key Responsibilities
* Managing a portfolio of approximately 160 personal tax clients
* Preparation and submission of personal tax returns
* Providing both compliance and advisory services to clients
* Liaising directly with clients to resolve queries and offer proactive tax planning advice
* Monitoring and managing your own workflow to ensure deadlines are met
* Supporting clients with a high level of service and technical expertise
Requirements
Essential:
* ATT qualified (or equivalent) or previous experience within HMRC in personal tax
* Proven experience within an accountancy practice
* Strong knowledge of UK personal tax legislation
* Excellent communication and numerical skills
* High attention to detail with the ability to manage and prioritise workload independently
Desirable:
* Experience with Capital Gains Tax computations and trust returns
* Exposure to mixed tax (personal and corporate)
* Familiarity with systems such as IRIS, Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks
