Position: Area Planner
Location: 2 Days Office / 3 days hybrid

We are currently seeking an experienced Area Planner to join our dynamic award winning team at Cooper Moss Rutland. You will be operating within an integrated planning function, supporting delivery across complex infrastructure programmes spanning design, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, construction and commissioning.
Role Overview
As an Area Planner, you will take ownership of planning outputs across your assigned area, ensuring programmes are robust, logically structured and aligned to delivery strategy. You will provide clear visibility on progress, risk and performance, enabling informed decision‑making across the lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
* Own and manage planning outputs across a defined project area, ensuring alignment with overall programme objectives and delivery milestones.
* Integrate multi-disciplinary inputs into a coherent, fully linked programme that reflects real delivery sequencing.
* Ensure schedules are logically sound, fully resourced where required, and reflect actual delivery constraints.
* Provide visibility of progress, risks and dependencies to support effective decision‑making.
* Develop and maintain integrated project schedules within Primavera P6, ensuring accuracy and alignment to delivery strategy.
* Coordinate planning inputs across engineering, procurement, logistics and construction teams.
* Analyse progress, identify risks and develop mitigation or recovery plans where required.
* Produce structured reporting outputs, including lookaheads, progress updates and performance metrics.
* Manage interfaces with contractors and supply chain partners for programme alignment and consistency.
Qualifications & Experience
* Proven experience working on large‑scale infrastructure or construction programmes.
* Strong Primavera P6 capability, including schedule build, logic linking and analysis.
* Understanding of full project lifecycle from design through to construction and commissioning.
* Experience working within multi-disciplinary delivery environments.
* Degree qualified or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline.
* Full right to work in the UK.
