Job Title: Front of House Catering Restaurant Supervisor

Employment Type: Full-Time, 5 days over 7 every other weekend, 08:00-16:30. £14.25 per hour
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Catering Supervisor to join our contract catering team. This role involves leading a team in a fast‑paced environment, ensuring high standards of food quality, hygiene, customer service and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and support catering staff during daily service
* Ensure excellent customer service standards are consistently delivered
* Assist with food preparation, presentation and service
* Monitor food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures
* Manage stock levels, ordering and inventory control
* Support staff training, development and performance management
* Ensure compliance with company policies and client requirements
* Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally
* Assist with cash handling and daily reporting where required
* Help achieve financial targets and minimise waste
Qualifications
* Previous experience commensurate with the role
* Passion for food and customer service
* Experience supervising, training and supporting a team
* Understanding of delegation and influencing skills
* Excellent organisational abilities; high attention to detail
* Concise and effective verbal and written communication
* Ability to adapt to challenges and opportunities with a solution‑oriented perspective
