Senior AI Engineer
Relevant Five is partnering with a rapidly expanding Digital Agency that is building AI-powered systems that sit at the intersection of Digital Marketing and Agentic Commerce
Job Responsibilities:
* Design, build, and maintain AI-powered systems supporting Digital Marketing performance
* Develop agentic commerce solutions that influence search discovery, evaluation, and conversion
* Build AI agents capable of reasoning over user intent, content, and commercial data
* Implement multi-step workflows for content optimisation, keyword and intent analysis, ad creative generation, and performance optimisation
* Apply LLM techniques including prompt engineering, tool/function calling, structured outputs, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
* Integrate AI systems with platforms such as Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Google Search Console, GA4, and SEO tooling
* Build scalable APIs, services, and internal tools used by SEO and PPC teams
* Evaluate and improve AI output quality using real-world performance signals (rankings, traffic, ROAS, conversion)
* Collaborate with SEO, PPC, and strategy teams to translate marketing goals into technical solutions
* Ensure AI systems are reliable, cost-effective, and production-ready
Skills & Experience Requirements:
* 5+ years of software engineering experience
* Strong Python and backend engineering expertise
* Proven experience building and deploying AI or ML-powered systems
* Strong understanding of how agentic commerce is transforming SEO and search visibility
* Experience working with LLMs, including orchestration and evaluation
* Familiarity with embeddings, vector databases, and search/retrieval systems
* Experience integrating with third-party APIs and marketing platforms
* Strong system design, problem-solving, and communication skills
* The ideal candidate will have experience in agentic systems or agentic commerce workflows
