We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our finance team on a temporary basis to provide essential support during a busy period. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong accounting skills to make an immediate impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Processing and managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
Maintaining and reconciling the purchase ledger and sales ledger
Assisting with monthly budget preparation and reporting
Performing bank reconciliations and ensuring accuracy of financial records
Supporting the cashflow management process
Handling financial documents and filing in an organised and timely manner
Liaising with internal departments and external suppliers as required
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar accounts or finance role
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
