A leading specialist school in Northumberland is looking for a Behaviour Support Worker to join their team. This role is ideal for anyone starting out in education or support work who’s driven by kindness, patience, and a real passion for helping children with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.

What you’ll be doing
Supporting children with SEMH needs, helping them regulate emotions and behaviour
Creating a safe, respectful, and empowering learning environment
Encouraging positive interactions, empathy, and responsibility
Working closely with teachers, therapists, and families to provide tailored support
Helping pupils build confidence, motivation, and readiness for life beyond school

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
