Role Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Building Safety Manager to take the lead in developing and delivering a robust health and safety strategy across a large, multi-site organisation. This is a pivotal position where you’ll play a key role in ensuring compliance, promoting a positive safety culture, and supporting major construction and property projects from design through to delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead on health and safety compliance across all building and construction activities.
* Provide expert guidance on the application of CDM Regulations 2015.
* Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and regular safety audits.
* Deliver engaging safety training and promote best practice at all levels.
* Liaise with contractors, consultants, and regulatory bodies to maintain high safety standards.
* Support project delivery with a strong focus on safety, quality, and timelines.
Essential Criteria:
* Degree or HNC/HND in a relevant discipline.
* NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent qualification).
* Chartered membership of IOSH (or working towards).
* In-depth understanding of current health and safety legislation.
* Demonstrable experience in construction or civil engineering safety.
* Excellent communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Kent as required.
Desirable Criteria:
* Proven experience managing multiple projects to strict deadlines.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and networking skills.
* Background in working within small, collaborative teams.
