I am currently recruiting for a Head of Finance / Financial Controller position for a well-established multi-company business based in Blackpool. This is a senior finance role within a growing group with operations across energy consultancy, property and hospitality, with a combined turnover of approximately £10m.
This position will suit a qualified accountant who enjoys working in an SME environment and wants to take full responsibility for the finance function while working closely with the Managing Director and senior leadership team.
The role is based in Blackpool. Hybrid working is available after a qualifying period.
The role Head of Finance / Financial Controller
* Full responsibility for the finance function across multiple companies
* Production of monthly management accounts, budgets and forecasts
* Cashflow reporting and financial planning
* Implementing and improving financial controls and reporting processes
* Managing a small finance team
* Supporting senior management with financial insight
* Attending board meetings and presenting financial performance
* Business partnering across different departments
* Overseeing payroll, compliance and day-to-day finance operations
Package
* Salary up to £61,500 depending on experience
* 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
* Hybrid working available

Requirements
* ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
* Experience as Head of Finance, Financial Controller, Finance Manager or similar
* Strong management accounts and cashflow experience
* Experience working in an SME or owner-managed business preferred
* Confident working with senior stakeholders
