Overview
We are seeking to appoint a person to provide specialist medical support on a one-to-one basis in our Prep School. The ideal candidate will have sound knowledge of paediatric diabetes or is willing to undertake extensive training in order to manage the condition in order to provide 1-1 support for a pupil. The candidate will be self-motivated, enthusiastic and a good communicator, to encourage, support, guide and give practical help to the process of learning and managing Diabetes. The INA will work with an individual pupil, preparing and delivering targeted structured medical interventions under the direction of the Health and Wellbeing Centre Manager and Assistant Director of Learning Support, as well as managing and monitoring the individual’s medical condition.
This is a fixed-term role for the Academic Year 25-26; in line with current funding arrangements it is due to end on or before 31st August 2026. Where these funding arrangements change or are no longer available, the scope of the role will be reviewed.
