The Role
This role offers the ideal chance for either an experienced Occupational Health Nurse or an RGN looking to step into their first Occupational Health role to provide a first-class Occupational Health Service operating to high clinical standards. Your duties will include:
* Carry out wellbeing assessments
* Deliver health promotion, advice, and education
* Conduct safety-critical medicals
* Undertake confined spaces assessments
* Complete drug and alcohol testing
* Provide professional advice, support, and guidance
* Assess new clients presenting to Occupational Health
* Evaluate fitness to work for specific job roles
* Support the Occupational Health Manager by advising, monitoring, and assessing the clinical practices of the OH team
* Maintain clinical assessment skills in line with best practice standards
Hours
This is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week on an afternoon/evening rota (3pm – 11pm). Transport back to your car at the end of each shift will be provided.
Required Skills
To be the successful Occupational Health Nurse candidate for this role, you\'ll be:
* NMC Registered Nurse
* Previous Occupational Health experience is desirable, but not essential
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise in a busy environment
* Confident IT skills, including databases, Outlook, Word, and Excel
* A team player who enjoys challenges and is committed to achieving results
* Curious, motivated, and eager to learn, develop, and support others
* Full UK Driving License with own transport to get to the client site
