✨ Waking Night Support Worker - Make a Difference While the World Sleeps
Location: Worksop – S80
Salary: Up to £28,650.00 per annum
Shift Pattern: Follow a 4 nights on, 4 nights off rota.

🛠️ What the Role Involves
As a Waking Night Support Worker, you’ll be a vital guardian during the quiet hours, ensuring the children and young people feel safe, supported, and cared for. Your role will be steady, responsible, and deeply rewarding. You’ll be responsible for:
1. Monitoring the home and conducting regular safety checks
2. Supporting young people who may wake during the night, offering calm reassurance and practical help
3. Managing and recording incidents with professionalism and empathy
4. Assisting with bedtime and morning routines, ensuring smooth transitions between night and day
5. Maintaining accurate records and providing thorough handovers to the day team
6. Creating a safe, nurturing, and stable environment throughout the night
🏡 About Meadow View House
Meadow View opened in January 2017, and provides a caring and comfortable environment for up to 5 young people. The home sits in its own grounds giving you a peaceful and tranquil environment, yet the town centre is easily reached by foot or public transport within 5 Minutes. Worksop has many leisure activities as well as attractions such as local parks, cinemas, skate parks and a leisure centre… if you wish to venture further afield Sheffield can be reached within 30 minute as can Nottingham by car.
Located in S80 – Worksop, Meadow View children’s home provides a welcoming and supportive environment for young people who have experienced trauma. The home is designed to be both safe and nurturing, with a strong emphasis on stability and positive relationships.
Our team works closely with the young people to encourage independence, education, and personal growth. Even at night, the atmosphere is one of care, trust, and reassurance - helping children feel secure and valued.

12. A desire to grow - full training and a funded Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare provided
13. A full UK driver’s licence

14. £26,749 – £27,747 per annum (£12.86 – £13.34 per hour)

📌 Important Information
We do not offer sponsorship or support with right to work.
All applicants must have their own right to work in the UK, permitting them to work 40 hours per week.
