About the Role
Hoddom Nursery is seeking two Early Years Support Assistants. These positions are 39 weeks per year, with work patterns to be discussed at interview. The setting caters for children aged 2/3 to 5 years old, providing an enriching and nurturing environment to promote children's independence and curiosity.
Qualifications and Skills
* Educated to SCQF level 6 in Social Services, Children & Young People, or equivalent.
* Ability to adapt quickly to the educational and social needs of pupils.
* Participation in curriculum development and adherence to school policies on learning and pupil assessment.
* Ability to work collaboratively with staff, colleagues from other establishments, agencies, and communicate effectively with parents and carers.
Applicants must hold a relevant qualification enabling registration with The Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) as a Support Worker in Day Care Children’s Services, without conditions. The successful candidate will be required to register with the SSSC within 3 months of appointment.

* This post is considered as Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults under the PVG Scheme. Candidates must join or update the PVG scheme prior to employment.
* Applicants with residence outside the UK within the last 5 years will need to provide police record checks from the relevant authorities.
* Working hours may vary between 8.00 am and 6.00 pm based on service needs.
