Job Summary: The Site Document Controller is responsible for managing all documentation related to the site or project, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely distribution and retrieval. This role involves coordinating with engineers, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure proper document control and compliance with company and industry standards. Key Responsibilities: Document Management: Receive, log, track, and distribute all incoming and outgoing project documentation. Maintain and update document control systems and filing processes (physical and digital). Ensure documents are properly stored and easily accessible. Control & Compliance: Ensure that all documents are properly numbered, filed, and stored according to project procedures. Monitor document workflows and ensure all required approvals and signatures are obtained. Coordination & Communication: Liaise with contractors, consultants, site teams, and other departments to ensure smooth flow of documents. Support the project team with document-related inquiries and information retrieval. Assist with preparing documentation for inspections, audits, and handovers. Requirements: Education & Experience: Proficient in Microsoft packages Excel and Word Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Preferred but not essential) Proven experience (25 years) in document control, preferably in a construction or engineering site environment. Working Conditions: Based at project site office. May require extended hours to meet project deadlines. Regular interaction with field engineers, supervisors, and contractors. IMPORTANT ADDITIONAL INFORMATION The Appointed Site Document Controller will discuss all elements of the role brief with the appointee on appointment and after six months, recognising that some elements may need changing.
