Location: Winchester We have a requirement for a Structural Forensic Engineer to join our experienced Structural Engineering team. Our projects range from the testing and assessment of high-rise buildings to smaller domestic inspections. Our current workload consists of: Disproportionate collapse assessments against internal gas explosions, including Large Panel System buildings. Material testing and condition assessment of high-rise blocks for the new Building Safety Bill. Domestic structural inspections (i.e. subsidence and construction defects). Load assessments and refurbishments. Railway bridge inspections. Our projects are spread across the UK with interesting clients including universities, local authorities, Housing Associations, insurance companies, blue light, healthcare and Contractors. In this role you will be responsible for assisting the senior engineers and providing a wide range of services to our clients. Experience in concrete testing or LPS assessments preferable A good understanding of building structures and materials including steel, masonry, concrete, and timber A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across London and the South of England is a necessity. Some projects may require occasional travel further afield within the UK
