Construction Assessor (Groundwork Specialism)
Location: Worksop
Salary: Up to £25.46 per hour, plus holiday pay (dependant on experience and teaching qualifications)
Contract: Temporary, starting September 2025
Hours: 37 hours per week, 5 Week courses

The Role
You will assess & deliver groundwork related aspects of the construction trade such as concreting, pipework and setting foundations to apprentices at the College. In this role you can influence and contribute towards the College's provision in this key area. You will have the opportunity not only to impart your knowledge and expertise to adult learners, but ultimately will make an impact on the wider community.
You will play a key role in delivering outstanding quality teaching, learning and assessment which will support students to achieve their best no matter what their challenges are to do so, and present yourself as a positive role model to students.
Skills and Qualifications
* hold an assessor’s award
* hold an appropriate level professional qualification in construction
* have experience of teaching/assessing construction to apprentices
* hold a teaching qualification (Desirable)
* be well organised and able to manage your own workload
