The Role
We are seeking a proactive and personable Administration with Accounts Support professional to join our team on a fixed-term basis. This is a varied role combining administrative coordination with day-to-day accounts support. The successful candidate will be organised, adaptable, and confident working both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
Administration Duties
* Handle incoming calls professionally and efficiently
* Log enquiries and refer them to the appropriate team member
* Process card payments
* Oversee and manage the generic company email inbox
* Raise invoices accurately and in a timely manner
* Update and manage CRM system
* Provide administrative support to the surveying and contracts teams as required
* Prepare and coordinate biweekly surveyor reports
Accounts Duties
* Credit Control
* Process purchase ledger transactions using Auto Entry and carry out reconciliations
* Prepare monthly supplier statement reconciliations
* Chase suppliers for statements
* Match statements against invoices
* Allocate payments on account
* Issue remittance advices
* Manage and reconcile RingGo, Dart and TFL accounts on a monthly basis
* Manage company cross-charging
* Manage petty cash
* Prepare time sheets for weekly payroll
About You (Essential Criteria)
* Warm, welcoming, and professional manner
* Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Sage and Excel
* Minimum of 2 years' administration experience
* Confident handling financial processes and reconciliations
* Able to think on your feet and manage competing priorities
* Kind, considerate, and a strong team player
