Location: High Holborn, London (with regular travel across London)
We’re looking for a talented Account Manager to join our Dual Management team at Abbatt, covering a 12-month maternity leave.
This role is ideal for someone with Area Manager experience in retail or hospitality, especially if you’re experienced in managing multiple sites, leading teams with energy and empathy, and providing excellent service to clients and internal teams.
About the Role
As part of our outsourced staffing division, you’ll manage on-site staff across various residential buildings in London, including recruitment, onboarding, support, employee relations, and client satisfaction.
You’ll be based in High Holborn but will visit sites regularly to support staff and meet clients. This role combines HR, operations, account management, and client services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee staffing at multiple residential properties
* Conduct site visits to support staff and maintain morale
* Lead recruitment, training, and appraisals
* Handle employee relations and retention strategies
* Ensure Health & Safety compliance
Client Relationship Management:
* Serve as the primary contact for your client portfolio
* Attend review meetings and prepare performance reports
* Resolve service issues promptly and implement improvements
Operational & Project Support:
* Manage staffing contracts and rotas
* Collaborate with recruitment teams to source talent
* Support temporary staffing needs and assist with payroll and invoicing
Business Development & Representation:
* Represent Abbatt at networking and client events
* Promote our services to new and existing contacts
Candidate Requirements:
* Experience managing multiple sites, preferably in retail or hospitality
* Strong relationship-building skills and service orientation
* Ability to work independently and manage schedules
* Knowledge of HR processes and Health & Safety is a plus
* Organized, confident, and effective communicator
* Familiarity with scheduling or HR software is beneficial
