Tailor / Seamstress
to join our small team at our workshop near Deddington in Oxfordshire.
Cocoon is a luxury clothing brand that responsibly creates beautiful stylish Made to Measure outerwear for men and women. All our garments are made at our lovely atelier style workshop located on the edge of the Cotswolds.
You should be passionate about tailoring, skilled in garment construction and love creating beautiful garments with care and great attention to detail. Typically producing individual garments from start to finish, giving a rewarding sense of ownership and pride in the finished article.
Candidates should be experienced and confident in the use of industrial sewing machinery and familiar with handling of a range of fabrics from wool tweed to silk sateen. Some training can be given, but we are looking for candidate with experience and a good tailoring skill set.
We are searching for a candidate wishing to build a long term future with the brand. You will be an important member of our small friendly team happy to utilise and share you own experience while willing to learn new skills and techniques in a positive collaborative environment.

The position is full-time but we can offer flexibility in start time and daily hours, and would also consider 4 day a week working. Up to 37.5 hr working week including 1/2 hour paid lunch break.

You will be joining us at an exciting time for the brand which having been established 40 years ago is now under new ownership. We have big plans for the business and need your help to achieve our vision.
Due to our rural location with no public transport applicants must be able to drive and have access to their own transport.
You must be within commuting distance of our workshop or willing to relocate.
