Job Description
Location: Reading. Client site-based, 4-day workweek

We are seeking multiple Design Engineers (Tooling) to support a key client in Reading.
The primary focus will be designing, procuring, and operating process tooling and equipment that are safe, cost-effective, and compliant with company standards.
Your Responsibilities:
* Design tooling or equipment using Siemens NX software.
* Present solutions during interim and design reviews.
* Produce technical specifications, drawings, process flows, and manufacturing instructions.
* Manage modifications to existing tooling and equipment.
* Maintain Design History Files via Siemens Teamcenter.
* Assist in procurement activities.
* Capture and manage requirements to meet customer expectations.
* Conduct option analysis and down-selection of solutions.
* Plan and execute physical tests and trials.
* Mentor and guide other engineers in technical decisions.
* Review designs to ensure high quality standards.
* Adhere to Environment, Health, Safety, Security, and Quality standards.
* Protect company information and assets from security breaches.

Candidate Profile
* Proficient with IT tools, including Office, NX, and Teamcenter.
* Proven experience in technical delivery, performance improvement, and project management.
* Knowledge of production processes and manufacturing engineering solutions.
* Effective stakeholder management skills.
* Experience in nuclear safety-regulated environments and applying nuclear safety principles (DSA03-DNSR).
* Degree in a STEM discipline.
* Experience with quality tools like SPC.
* Basic P6 knowledge is desirable.
* Security Clearance: Must hold DV clearance without caveats and be a sole UK national.
