Job Description
Quantum Scholars are working alongside a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) based in Wokingham who are seeking a Computer Science Tutor to provide 1:1, in-person tuition for pupils receiving alternative provision or Education Otherwise Than at School (EOTAS) in the Wokingham area.
This role focuses on delivering personalised Computer Science tuition to pupils who are currently out of mainstream education. Many of the students you will support may have additional needs such as Autism, ADHD, SEMH, behavioural challenges, or medical needs, so the ability to adapt your teaching approach and create engaging, accessible lessons is key.
This is a highly rewarding opportunity to help pupils build their confidence and develop their understanding of Computer Science. You will work closely with individual pupils, delivering tailored sessions that support their academic progress and help them remain engaged with learning. Sessions typically take place in the pupil's home or in a suitable community setting, and tutors are responsible for planning and preparing Computer Science lessons and resources to suit each pupil's needs and ability level.
Please note that these sessions take place during school hours and are delivered in person. Please only apply if you are available to tutor during these times.
Role details:
* 1:1 Computer Science tutoring for pupils outside of mainstream education
