We are seeking a Sous Chef to join our talented kitchen team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced chef to step into a key leadership role within a high-performing, progressive kitchen environment. As a Sous Chef, you will support the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, leading your team, and ensuring our dishes are executed to the highest standards. You will also play a key role in mentoring junior chefs, managing service, and contributing to the development of seasonal menus.
Salary & Progression:
Competitive salary range from £38,000 to £40,000, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage your section, ensuring dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standard.
Assist in the day-to-day running of the kitchen alongside the Head Chef, maintaining a high level of organisation.
Ensure consistent food quality, portion control, and food safety standards are upheld at all times.
Train and mentor junior chefs, providing guidance and development opportunities.
Contribute to menu creation, developing new dishes with seasonal, sustainable ingredients.
Maintain kitchen cleanliness, organisation, and health & safety standards.
Foster a positive, collaborative kitchen environment, where creativity and quality are at the forefront.
Support sustainability initiatives and ethical sourcing practices aligned with our B Corp mission.
What We’re Looking For:
A passionate chef with strong experience in high-quality kitchens, ideally with previous Sous Chef experience.
A calm, organised approach to managing a busy kitchen environment.
Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
An eye for detail and consistency in food presentation and execution.
A passion for seasonal, sustainable produce and ethical sourcing.
Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a high standard of service.
