DOCUMENT CONTROLLER
Carbon60 is looking to recruit a Document Controller to work for a leading Facilities Management company based in Manchester.
ROLE: Document Controller
PAY RATE: between £13.46 p/h to £16.83 p/h PAYE // between £17.81 p/h to 22.27 p/h through Umbrella company
JOB TYPE: contract until March 2026
HOURS: Full time, Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm
THE ROLE:
* Lead document control processes across multiple complex projects or programs.
* Ensure consistent compliance with document management protocols, GDPR, ISO standards, and client contract requirements.
* Manage and administer EDMS platforms such as Viewpoint for Projects (4Projects), ensuring correct usage and access control.
* Support the setup of document control systems and naming conventions at project initiation stages.
* Oversee the collation and handover of O&M manuals, Health & Safety files, and other key project documentation.
* Liaise with subcontractors and design consultants to ensure document submissions are compliant and timely.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:
* Substantial experience in document control within construction, hospital or engineering projects.
* Ability to manage and improve document control processes at a project or program level.
* Strong knowledge of EDMS platforms, particularly SharePoint and Autodesk for Projects.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Strong IT proficiency including MS Office Suite.
* Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
