In this vital role, you will be responsible for producing and managing high quality mechanical and electrical (M&E) CAD drawings. These drawings play a key role in ensuring the safe, efficient and effective delivery of healthcare services across our estate.

* Prepare, update, and manage M&E CAD drawings using AutoCAD in accordance with British/UK standards.
* Maintain the CAD drawing library, including document tracking and revision control.
* Interpret technical data from a variety of sources and translate it into accessible CAD content.
* Conduct site surveys to gather and verify key asset and services data.
* Liaise with Estates, Capital Projects teams, and contractors to ensure drawing accuracy.
* Ensure consistency with drawing protocols, file naming conventions, and compliance standards.
* Troubleshoot drawing issues, propose improvements, and implement effective solutions.
* Assist in compiling technical reports and presentation materials.
* Provide CAD support to small-scale projects as required.

As a CAD Technician, you will take ownership of the accuracy and upkeep of M&E CAD drawings across our healthcare estate. Your work will support maintenance operations, capital projects and compliance activities, for building services including: ventilation, power, heating, lighting, water, fire protection and medical gases.
This role includes site visits and may occasionally involve accessing plant areas using ladders or other equipment. You'll play a key role in clearly communicating technical information to both technical and non-technical colleagues.
