Our focus is on providing the highest quality service at all times.
As a Night Care Assistant you will take responsibility for the physical and emotional wellbeing and social needs of our residents. You will assist residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and assisting with meals. You will deliver care that truly comes from the heart, ensuring residents never lose their dignity or sense of individuality as you engage in general activities within the care home. You may help someone with limited mobility to use an aid, offer emotional support to a distressed resident or deliver care to someone at the end of their life, always keeping their wellbeing in mind above all else.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. You should be able to recognise signs of possible abuse, harm or neglect in its different forms and know what to do if there are any concerns. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and undertake additional training in related areas. You should also have the ability to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
