An opportunity has arisen in our Bettys by Post (BYP) team and we are looking for a BYP Operations Team Leader to join us at our Online Operations department in Bettys Bakery, Harrogate. This is a fixed term role until end April 2026. Bettys by Post is responsible for ensuring our customers receive their Bettys treats beautifully packaged. BYP work closely with our couriers, our third party packing partners and our bakery team to ensure products arrive with our customers on time. As a BYP Operations Team Leader you will be responsible for leading a team of Fulfilment Assistants to achieve the highest customer satisfaction in accurate and efficient despatch of Bettys by Post customer orders, on time and in full. Working with the Online Operations management team you will ensure the whole operation works effectively to ensure operational excellence. You will demonstrate presence as a leader, motivating, communicating, and supporting team member needs as required and be responsible for actions to be in line with Food Safety, Health & Safety, Data Protection law and all other Bettys and/or legal standards as trained. This role will also work to achieve financial targets for the department, including packaging, product and staffing costs and be proactive in managing workflow and communicate to ensure resources and people are distributed throughout the department to ensure orders are despatched on time and to standard. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours over 5 days. There may be some weekend work at peak times such as Christmas and Easter but this will be minimal.
