Senior Category Manager – Warehouse Relocation Project
18-Month Fixed Term Contract
We are recruiting a Senior Category Manager to support the procurement activity for a major warehouse relocation and logistics transformation project.
This role will focus on commercial sourcing and supplier management across the key areas required to successfully deliver the move to a new distribution centre.
You will work closely with the programme team, operations leaders and project managers to ensure the right suppliers, contracts and commercial frameworks are in place to support the build, fit-out and operational transition.
What you’ll be working on
You will lead procurement activity across several areas linked to the set-up and launch of a new warehouse / DC, including:
* Warehouse fit-out and infrastructure
* Logistics and transport services
* Technology and operational systems
* Facilities and operational services
* General project and operational suppliers
What we’re looking for
* Procurement experience across logistics, warehousing or operational services
* Experience supporting large projects, transformation programmes or site relocations
* Ability to run tenders, supplier selection and commercial negotiations
* Strong stakeholder engagement with operations, project and finance teams
* A practical, delivery-focused approach to procurement
This is a hands‑on role within a major supply chain project, ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with operational teams and delivering tangible outcomes.
