The RAC is the UK's leading breakdown service provider, with 4,000 'orange heroes' delivering top motoring services. We now have a fantastic opportunity for a skilled, field-based Roadside Mechanic to join our team.
Requirements for the Roadside Mechanic role:
* Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
* Technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience
* Customer-focused approach
* Full UK driving license
* Flexibility for short-notice work
* Open to travel and overnight stays if needed
This role involves working approximately 40 hours per week without a fixed roster. Roster details are provided seven days in advance, with core hours sent three days ahead. Working hours are between 0600 and 0200, including evenings, early mornings, weekends, and bank holidays.
