This is a brand new role reporting to our International HR Director, Aggy. You'll have an opportunity to provide invaluable HR Business Partnering support for Finance and HR, as well as driving International HR Projects and supporting People and Performance agenda across the business.
The role would be perfect for a seasoned HR professional, with experience in managing the HR agenda across multiple stakeholder groups including senior leaders. You'll be experienced across all aspects of a generalist HR remit - with strengths in coaching and line management skills, as well as a strong technical knowledge to underpin your impact here.
Key Responsibilities
Business Partnering (approx. 50% of the role)
Working as an HR Business Partner across two Business Units (HR and Finance) with a population of circa 40 employees based predominantly in the UK (but with some globally based), you’ll be the first point of contact for providing timely and proactive People and Performance partnering, and will be responsible for designing and delivering the strategic and longer term People plan and operational agenda.
* Fully accountable for the design and delivery of the People plan for HR and Finance including the operational day-to-day,
* Responsible for the workforce planning strategy and its effective implementation, including campaign design & definition through to conducting interviews and assessment activities.
* Accountable for ensuring the successful implementation of a competitive reward strategy and ongoing review of reward and remuneration versus best practice. This will also include the completion of the annual pay review.
* Lead on organisational design and organisational change projects, providing HR interventions to enable delivery of business/functional strategy.
* Ensure effective employment relations are maintained,
* Own the talent agenda for HR and Finance building capabilities for future, driving development and succession planning with key stakeholders and their teams.
* Identify areas for improvement, to mitigate risks and propose steps to rectify them.
* Provide proactive advice on HR matters that enable the business to achieve its objectives.
* Develop and implement a range of people improvement projects and initiatives.
* Deliver and embed key HR change projects, identified through International HR agenda, notably, but not limited to, Thrive, wellbeing, diversity and inclusion and employee engagement.
* Coach, support and challenge key individuals as part on their development planning process.
* Support the business’ Diversity and Inclusion agenda ensuring that this remains at the forefront of leadership teams’ minds when considering development, talent, engagement and succession.
* Managing through complex ER cases,
Project Management and Delivery (approx. 20% of the role)
Working across the International HR community and within ABF to collaborate on joint and ad hoc people-related activities and projects.
* End to end ownership of HR Projects - Project planning and delivery including comms and engagement,
* Operating and collaborating in a devolved model, working across the broader HR community and cross functionally (for example Finance, IT, Legal and other related functions).
People and Performance agenda (approx. 30% of the role)
* Working closely with the International HR Director to produce content, drive the agenda setting of key meetings and helping to enable the People and Performance ways of working and framework to embed across the International HR Team and wider across our key stakeholders.
* Driving action planning, designing content and collaborating across the wider HR team across TwO and TwO leadership teams to enable the 3 year plan.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Educated to degree level or equivalent, with a professional CIPD qualification and qualification in psychometrics.
* Track record of balancing the operational and strategic HR agendas in an evolving, fast-paced global business unit.
* Very strong all-round HR generalist knowledge across recruitment, reward, development and employee engagement agendas.
* Strong evidence of delivering results, working with senior leadership and senior stakeholders across a matrixed international structure.
* Strong evidence of driving a capability within teams.
* Supporting strategic HR interventions designed to enable business strategy.
* Successfully line managing, leading and developing individuals and wider teams.
* Organisation design and development.
* Experience of working in an international organisation and business unit.
* Skilled user of psychometric tools for assessment & development.
* Developing and coaching individuals and teams.
* A track record of dealing with complex ER issues.
* Driving successful engagement initiatives.

* You possess a proven ability to juggle, prioritise and deliver multiple activities with rigour and discipline under time pressure.
* Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management experience at all levels, as well as the ability to understand and simplify complexity underpin your strong ER experience.
* An experienced, credible HR all-rounder, you’re comfortable with a complex and diverse workload, bringing a ‘can do’ attitude and a track record of delivering tangible results.
* You embrace ambiguity and are confident in challenging the status quo - able to influence senior stakeholders and communicate appropriately across all levels of the organisation.
* An agile thinker with a commercial mindset, you’re able to work in partnership with the business to ensure delivery of the best results/outcomes.
