About the apprenticeship
Duties
•To gain experience of all the HR functions through the employee lifecycle including:
oRecruitment and Selection
oOnboarding
oPay and Reward
oHR Systems
oContracts
oHR Casework
oLearning and Development
oHealth and Safety.
•Develop a knowledge and understanding of employment policies, practices and legal obligations.
•Respond to routine queries from employees and managers.
•Conduct research and provide support for, and contribute to, team and organisation wide projects.
•Manage employee documentation and liaise with employees and managers as necessary.
•Support the HR team in managing performance, behaviour and attendance and employee casework.
•Develop a knowledge of HR systems and digital solutions.
•Support and contribute to the organisation, design and delivery of face-to-face training and digital learning.

Ability to handle sensitive, confidential employee information with discretion and integrity.
A positive approach to problem solving addressing workplace issues and supporting HR policies
Able to work as part of a team and/or own under supervision
A willingness to undertake training and develop new skills and abilities as part of personal and professional development for continuous improvement.
An ability to complete tasks in agreed timeframes and work to deadlines.

Qualifications
You will work towards the CIPD Level 3 Foundation Certificate in People Practice qualification. Basic understanding of HR principles
