Salary Range: £36,000 - £43,000

Puro Associates is pleased to assist an Accountancy firm in Liverpool in their quest for a full-time Senior Accountant to join their cohesive and experienced team of accounting professionals.
Key Responsibilities for the Senior Accounts Job include:
* Managing a client portfolio, ensuring the delivery of top-notch accounting and tax services
* Preparation and review of annual accounts, tax computations, and VAT returns
* Providing mentorship and guidance to junior team members, with a focus on training and development
* Offering financial guidance while ensuring adherence to accounting standards and tax regulations
* Assisting in special projects and ad-hoc tasks, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
* Nurturing strong client relationships, identifying avenues for business expansion and enhancement
For the Senior Accounts role, candidates should possess:
* Ideally an ACCA or ACA qualification, with preferably a minimum of 3 years' experience in an accountancy firm
* Consideration will also be given to Part-qualified individuals or those who are QBE
* Profound technical proficiency in accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting
* Proficiency in Excel, Xero, Sage, and other Accounting and Taxation software
* Effective communication skills, capable of interacting confidently with clients and colleagues across all levels
