We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist and Nurses to join our Respiratory Therapy Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing respiratory care to residents in a long term care setting, with a focus on geriatrics. This position will be at Pine Knoll Rehabilitation Centre in Winchester, Indiana.
Previous ventilator and tracheostomy experience is a plus, but not required. We are happy to train you on site!
Responsibilities
* Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
* Administer and documentation of respiratory treatments as prescribed by physicians
* Monitor and record vital signs, such as oxygen saturation levels and heart rate
* Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and disease management
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive resident care
* Respond to emergency situations and provide basic life support as needed
Requirements
* Certified RRT, CRT, RCP, RN or LPN
* Current Indiana Respiratory Therapist license preferred
* Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
* Basic life support certification required

This position is for a Full Time position, 12 hour shifts, and rotating weekends. Weekend bonus available.
