Role Overview
We are looking for 8x Security Officers to join our team working on a new customer site following a successful contract mobilisation. The role involves carrying out daily tasks to create a safe and secure environment for all visitors and staff while ensuring good customer service.
What You’ll Do
* Demonstrate a positive commitment to a high level of customer service, professional presentation, and confidentiality at all times.
* Always display excellent situational awareness.
* Facilitate access/egress to building(s) whilst maintaining a high level of client facing and customer service skills.
* Be aware of protest and demonstration activity and respond/escalate as appropriate.
* Assist staff, guests, contractors and public bodies in providing information, direction or responding to queries in a professional manner.
* Follow all operating procedures and act in accordance with them.
* Assist during major incidents as instructed.
* Show your SIA licence while on duty.
* Maintain accurate records, logs and submit reports as required.
* Participate in staff welfare or development programmes and mandatory training.
* Communicate clearly using radios or phones.
* Carry out any other reasonable request as required.
Who You’ll Be
* Clearance to BS7858
* SIA Licence – Security Guard (SG)
* SIA Licence – Door Supervisor (DS) (if applicable)
* SIA Licence – CCTV (if applicable)
* First aid qualification
* Customer service experience
* Strong written and verbal communication
* Experience of IT software (Word, Teams, Outlook)
* Reliable, punctual and approachable
* Take pride in appearance at all times
* Flexible in approach to daily duties
* Prioritise tasks and work under pressure
* Comfortable working alone with initiative as part of a team
