We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Manager to lead our vibrant nursery in Grays. This role is perfect for an experienced Room Leader or Deputy Manager who is looking to progress in their career. The successful candidate will oversee the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for children.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Oversee the overall management of the nursery, including staff supervision, curriculum planning, and facility management.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and standards for childcare and early education.
* Develop and implement policies that promote best practices in early childhood education.
* Manage staff recruitment, training, and development to ensure high-quality care and education.
* Maintain strong relationships with parents and guardians, including regular communication and engagement in nursery activities.
* Monitor and manage the nursery budget and resources effectively.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education.
* Proven experience as a Room Leader or Deputy Manager in a nursery setting.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and safeguarding procedures.
* Ability to work effectively with staff, children, and parents.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
