About the role
You will work within the Control & Instrumentation engineering team to safely deliver control system and PLC modifications and upgrades. Your responsibilities will include managing plant improvement projects, delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions, and maintaining existing control systems with the latest security measures against cyber threats. This role offers the chance to develop expertise in cyber-security aligned with NIS regulations and IEC62443 standards, contributing to the delivery of flexible, renewable energy at Drax Power Station.
Who we’re looking for
You should have at least a HND in Control & Instrumentation, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or Software Engineering, along with prior PLC programming experience. Experience with Schneider PLCs and knowledge of NIS regulation and IEC62443 are desirable. You should be skilled in project delivery, able to manage a dynamic workload, and eager to learn. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential, along with a commitment to safety and environmental standards.
