Talent Attraction Researcher and Coordinator
(Hybrid minimum 3 days on campus)
The University of Manchester is making a significant investment in establishing a new Talent Attraction Centre of Expertise within the Directorate of People. This is a pivotal moment and we’re recruiting a cluster of transformative roles to lead this change.
As Talent Attraction Researcher and Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the delivery of inclusive and effective talent attraction strategies. You’ll coordinate recruitment activity, provide market research and data insights, and ensure campaigns are well informed, targeted, and aligned with the University’s strategic goals.
You’ll contribute to continuous improvement in candidate experience and recruitment outcomes, while supporting senior colleagues in delivering key Talent Attraction projects from inception through to business as usual.
About the Team
This role sits within the newly formed Talent Attraction Centre of Expertise, which includes Recruitment Services and the Talent Attraction team. Together, we’re building a streamlined, effective, and debiased recruitment experience for candidates, hiring managers, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate recruitment logistics for senior campaigns, including University Executive and Faculty level roles.
* Support project delivery and governance across a range of Talent Attraction initiatives.
* Provide high quality administrative support and ensure documentation meets corporate standards.
* Manage internal and external events, including bookings and materials.
* Liaise with external providers and ensure compliance with procurement and contract policies.
* Monitor service standards and recruitment KPIs.
* Support financial processes including invoicing and authorisations.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
* Experience in a customer-focused environment with strong service delivery.
* Excellent planning, organisation, and project coordination skills.
* Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
* High level of computer literacy (Microsoft 365) and experience with virtual platforms (Teams, Zoom).
* Ability to work collaboratively and constructively in a team.
* Experience in a support role and commitment to the University’s values.
Desirable:
* Experience in a Talent Attraction function.
* Familiarity with Power BI and SharePoint.
* Experience in policy development and implementation.
