Factory Operative – About The Role

Shift Pattern
* Shift 1: 06:00 – 14:00 (enhanced pay 06:00 – 08:00)
* Shift 2: 14:00 – 22:00 (enhanced pay 16:00 – 22:00)
* Shifts alternate weekly
What You’ll Be Doing
* Manual handling and physical labour
* Moving and positioning steel components
* Operating cranes and other factory equipment
Qualifications and Skills
* Reliable and thrive in a culture of continuous improvement
* Can‑do attitude, open to learning and embracing new ideas
* Strong teamwork, ability to stay motivated independently
* Understand health & safety importance and maintain a clean, safe workspace
* Willingness to learn and get stuck in
* Previous manufacturing experience is a bonus but not essential
Compensation and Growth
You’ll earn £14.42 per hour with the option for an enhanced rate up to £16 per hour based on a 37.5‑hour week. Opportunities for advancement and development exist.
