You will report to the Natural Foods UK Controller with a focus on cross-group financials, processes, reporting, and projects. The key focus areas of the role and where you will spend the majority of your time are:
* Assistant business partner for Operations and Marketing
* Month-end close support and reporting for Operations, Marketing and other SG&A areas along with other key financial deadlines throughout the year
* P&L analysis for responsible areas and as a basis for cost saving initiatives, from idea through to implementation.
* Budgeting, forecasting and reporting support across the 4 businesses.
* Balance sheet reviews and reconciliations.
* Audit support.
* Along with the other Controllers, be a member of the SAP S/4HANA testing team
* Group Projects: e.g. further alignment of tools and processes across the 4 Natural Foods businesses
* Team support: provide support to other team members where necessary – e.g. during periods of holiday.

* To be a part qualified accountant, working towards your qualification
* A bachelor’s degree, in an analytical/finance field preferred, from a good university
* Strong Excel skills – experience in compiling and analysing financial data
* Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential
* Robust analytical capabilities, analysing financial data, identifying trends, writing commentary and making informed recommendations
* Demonstrated experience in month end closings and reporting
* Good relationship building and business partnering qualities, with experience working with and presenting to senior staff members.
* An agile personality – you enjoy working on a variety of tasks and projects, along with providing support to the wider finance team as needed.
