We are looking for an Apprentice Assistant Management Accountant to join our team on a 2-year fixed-term contract. This apprenticeship will provide you with the opportunity to gain valuable work experience while studying towards a professional qualification in AAT.
This role will primarily work within our Finance Centre of Excellence but would also interact and spend time with Divisional Finance as required/suitable.
Rotational Programme
* Accounts Payable: Processing invoices, reconciling supplier statements, and managing payment runs.
* Accounts Receivable: Raising invoices, chasing outstanding debts, and reconciling customer accounts.
* Management Accounting: Preparing monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliation and supporting audit processes.
* Reporting & Planning: Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities
* Support the Finance team with day‑to‑day tasks and projects.
* Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analysis.
* Participate in the rotational programme, gaining experience in different areas of Finance.
* Attend training sessions and complete coursework as part of your apprenticeship.
* Communicate effectively with colleagues and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
* A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade C/4 or above, including Maths and English.
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Enthusiasm for learning and developing new skills.
