The Role:
As our Finance Manager, you'll take ownership of Spark2Life's finance function, ensuring we remain strong, compliant, and future-focused. You'll work closely with the Executive Team, supporting strategic planning while managing day-to-day finance operations.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading and improving financial systems, policies, and reporting
* Overseeing statutory accounts, audits, and compliance with Charity Commission and Companies House requirements
* Producing accurate management accounts, budgets, and forecasts
* Supporting fundraising, partnerships, and income generation with financial modelling and risk assessment Providing financial insight to guide organisational strategy and growth
About You:
We're looking for someone who is:
* Experienced in charity finance, including restricted/unrestricted funds and Gift Aid
* A qualified (or part-qualified) accountant – ACA/ACCA/CIMA/AAT (or equivalent)
* Skilled in preparing management accounts, audits, and complex budgets
* Confident with QuickBooks, Excel, and Google Sheets
* A collaborative leader who can communicate clearly and influence at all levels
What We Offer:
£45,000 – £55,000 (depending on experience)
