Job Summary
The NVQ Assessor plays a pivotal role in supporting learners through their vocational qualifications. This position involves assessing and guiding candidates in their practical skills and knowledge, ensuring they meet the required standards for their NVQ qualifications. Duties
* Conduct assessments of learners' practical skills and theoretical knowledge in accordance with NVQ standards.
* Provide constructive feedback to learners, helping them understand areas for improvement and encouraging their professional growth.
* Develop assessment plans tailored to individual learners' needs, ensuring a supportive and effective learning environment.
* Maintain accurate records of assessments, progress, and learner achievements to comply with regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate with training providers and employers to ensure alignment between training programmes and assessment criteria.
* Stay updated on industry trends and changes in NVQ standards to provide relevant guidance to learners.

* Strong teaching skills with the ability to engage and motivate learners effectively.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey information clearly and concisely.
* Strong organisational skills to manage assessment schedules and documentation efficiently.
* A keen eye for detail to ensure accurate assessments and compliance with standards.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility in approach.
