About the Role:
As a Technical Sales Manager, you will work closely with a broad range of industrial and technology-focused customers. You will provide pre-sales technical consultation, identify and develop new business opportunities, and nurture existing accounts. Your expertise in embedded systems and your customer-first mindset will be central to delivering tailored solutions and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and develop a portfolio of customers
* Identify customer needs and propose suitable embedded technology solutions
* Provide technical product demonstrations, proposals, and project support
* Collaborate with internal engineering and product teams to develop tailored offerings
* Attend customer visits, trade shows, and technical events as required
* Maintain accurate forecasting and reporting via CRM systems
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* Proven background in technical sales or field applications within the embedded computing or electronics industry
* Sound knowledge of embedded hardware or software (e.g., SBCs, modules, microcontrollers, RTOS, SoCs)
* Strong commercial awareness and customer engagement skills
* Self-motivated, with excellent communication and presentation abilities
* Full UK driving licence
* Engineering or electronics-related qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) desirable
