Driver Hire are recruiting for a Class 2 Driver for a permanent position with our local customer in Perthshire. This is a temp to perm position, where you will work for Driver Hire for 12 weeks before transferring over to a full time, permanent contract. You’ll be required to drive a Class 2 curtain sided vehicle, and make deliveries to commercial customers across the region. Most of the freight will be forklifted off the vehicle for you, however, you should be willing to use a tail lift and pallet truck for smaller drops. As a Class 2 HGV Driver, you will need: Category C entitlement on your UK driving licence Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Maximum of 6 points for minor offences HGV driving experience (preferred) In return, the Class 2 HGV driver can expect: Pay rate of £14.00 per hour (£15.69 inclusive of holiday pay) Weekly Pay 40 hours per week Monday to Friday shift pattern If you are a Class 2 HGV Driver looking for your next position, please apply today and we’ll be in touch to get you behind the wheel.
