The role:
Reporting to the Head of People, you'll enhance HR infrastructure and implement best practices across the organization. You will manage core HR operations, including payroll, employee engagement, recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and systems management, ensuring smooth and strategic execution.
This role offers the opportunity to shape company culture, improve employee experience, and support strategic HR initiatives. It requires a proactive approach, problem-solving skills, and meticulous execution. You will embed effective processes, leverage data insights, and create engaging employee experiences.
Responsibilities include overseeing daily HR policies and processes, managing payroll and benefits, handling employee relations, supporting recruitment and onboarding, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and GDPR. You will also drive process improvements, manage HR systems, and develop competitive compensation frameworks.
The person:
Degree educated, ideally CIPD L7 qualified (or L5 with ongoing studies)
Experience in HR operations, preferably within tech or fast-paced environments
Strong knowledge of UK employment law, payroll, benefits, and compliance
Experience managing HR systems and reporting tools
Proactive, self-starting, and an excellent communicator
Collaborative, discreet, and passionate about employee experience
Comfortable with ambiguity and change management
