We are recruiting for an experienced SENCo to our a dedicated team at a Special Needs school. The successful candidate will lead the provision for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), ensuring evrey child as access to an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

As a SENCo you will oversee and coordinat SEND provision across the school and identify and assess pupils with SEND and ensure appropriate interventions are in place.
You will develop and implement Individual Education Plans and Education, Health and Care Plans. By working closely with teachers, support staff, parents and external agencies to ensure effective support.
Monitoring and evaluating the impact of SEND strategies and interventions and ensuring cmpliance with the SEND Code of Practice and statutory requirements.
As the SENCo you will providing training and guidance to staff on inclusive teaching strategies and maintain accurate records and contribute to whole school improvement planning.
Essential Qualifications/Skills
QTS
Good knowledge of SEND legislation and best practice
Excellent communication and leadership
Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities
Experience in a similar role within a primary/secondary setting
Mandatory requirements of an enhanced DBS, right to work in UK, professional references will need to be provided for the role.
