Home-Start Wyre Forest is seeking an experienced and highly organised Scheme Secretary to support the smooth day-to-day running of our busy family support charity.
This is a key role within our small, friendly team, combining strong administrative expertise with financial responsibility.
About the Role You will be responsible for a wide range of administrative and financial duties, including:
Day-to-day office administration
Maintaining financial records, including restricted funding streams
Managing banking and petty cash
Processing payroll and ensuring compliance with HMRC requirements
Strong experience in both administration and finance is essential for this role.
About You We are looking for someone who:
Has proven administrative and financial experience
Is highly organised, reliable, and detail-focused
Has a positive attitude and a good sense of humour
Understands the challenges faced by families
Works well as part of a small, supportive team
Experience working with families, volunteers, or within the charity sector is desirable, along with an understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
