Salary paying up to a maximum of £75,000, based on experience.
We're seeking a Cash Cycle Senior Manager to oversee and enhance the management of cash across the organization — from forecasting and planning to analysis and value creation. This high-profile role involves collaborating with senior stakeholders including our CFO, Finance Director, and leaders across Commercial, Supply, and Group Finance. You will also oversee a Transaction Processing team of 7, covering Payables and Receivables.

Our hybrid working model for this role involves working 3 days on-site at our Head Office 'Mint House' in Royston, Hertfordshire, with 2 days remote. The office is conveniently located near Royston Train Station, just off the A505 and within easy reach from London Kings Cross.
What You'll Be Doing
* Lead periodic reporting and process improvements to enable accurate cash performance analysis.
* Coordinate weekly and periodic cash forecasts with relevant teams, including AP, AR, inventory, and capex.
* Manage the relationship with Mars and implement best practices from their Cash Centre of Excellence program.
* Lead and develop the Transactions Processing team.
* Create KPIs to monitor cash performance and foster process improvements, including training and adoption.
* Support financial processes related to cash, such as IVCP, AEP, quarterly forecasts, and year-end estimates, working with FP&A.
* Oversee the HC Group's investment approval process, primarily for Capital expenditure.
Who You Are...
Essential
* Qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
* Experience in cash flow and working capital planning and reporting
* Strong business acumen and understanding of key drivers and metrics
* High attention to detail and ability to simplify complex information

* Effective stakeholder management skills
* Excellent communication skills
* People leadership experience
Desirable
* Experience in retail and/or manufacturing sectors
* Knowledge of Microsoft D365 and Anaplan
