 
        Job Title: Profit Protection Administrator Department: Profit Protection Reporting to: Profit Protection Manager Location: Horsham Contract: 37.5 Hours: Monday – Friday 09:00-17:30  A great opportunity for individuals looking to start their career – offering comprehensive training and ongoing support About the Role THE ROLE: Data entry into the company’s billing system and checking to ensure the accuracy of the data that has been inputted Ensure that shipments are invoiced at the earliest opportunity via management of the Billing Module, including the onboarding of new customers, services and carriers. Running credit reports on new and existing customers. To liaise with suppliers and third parties to ensure all data (including costs) are captured and recorded correctly. To effectively support management and actively assist with the administration duties of the company Liaising with commercial and finance teams in investigating customer invoice queries to ensure prompt resolution, proactively identifying and resolving potential invoice queries To efficiently manage a large amount of information and process large amounts of data Resolving discrepancies in information and obtaining further information for incomplete service agreements and letters of variation (LOV). Updating and distributing customer tariffs. Liaise with internal and external parties and subcontractors on a daily basis to obtain data. Actively participate in group discussions and meetings Assist the team in dealing with month end deadlines, calculating highly accurate manual charges and accounting provisions as necessary to support accurate financial reporting. Supporting the development, testing and implementation to ensure continuous improvement of GFS systems and automated solutions. Be able to competently quality check work Any other reasonable task as may be required from time to time SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES REQUIRED: High level of attention to detail Excellent organisation and time management skills Desire to learn for personal & professional development. Good knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office application High levels of attention to detail and problem-solving skills Excellent administration skills Excellent level of written and oral communication Positive attitude & a team player Ability to multitask to meet deadlines. Confident in data handling Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a rapidly changing environment Knowledge of the logistics industry would be an advantage
