Overview
Taylor Hobson is recruiting for an Electronics/Systems Placement Student to join the Business Unit in Leicester, United Kingdom for 12 months.
Responsibilities
* Writing and testing firmware for FPGAs and microcontrollers
* Creating and modifying CAD drawings in various software packages
* Assisting with evaluation testing, involving measuring components on our instruments and analysing the results
* Assisting with creation and maintenance of electronics CAD libraries
Requirements for Consideration
ESSENTIAL:
* At least basic knowledge of VHDL FPGA design, C programming, digital and analog electronics
* Strong all-round communication and analytical skills and a real commitment to teamwork
* Drives projects to completion
* Confidence and integrity
DESIRABLE:
* Proficient in Word processing, Excel and PCB schematic capture software
* Undergraduate level electronic engineering or related discipline
