Pooch and Mutt Operations Assistant - £26k p/a

Reporting to the Operations Manager and working closely with the operations and finance teams, the Operations Assistant will be responsible for looking after the day-to-day supply chain activities which get our bags of pet food onto shelves in the supermarket.
This is a remote position requiring travel within the UK a couple of times a month.
This role is a supply chain operations role – experience of supply chain and logistics is a must
Key Responsibilities
· Processing orders from customers and liaising with our outsourced 3PL to ensure all orders are delivered OTIF
· Processing invoices in a timely manner
· Manage the day-to-day relationships with supply chain teams at all of our major customers
· Raising import paperwork to clear our products through customs
· Set up of new products on the various systems & ensuring price lists are up to date
· Supporting the production of accurate and timely reports on service level, inventory and others as required

· Previous experience with accounting software to process orders / invoices
· Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels
· Strong Excel skills
Desirable skills
· FMCG experience
· Experience with EDI software
